Location: kiteboarding spot in Cobourg, lake Ontario intersection of Paul Currelly Way /Perry Street.
Spot activities: Swimming. KITEBOARDING is not ALLOWED at the beach area.(by-law as of 2016)
Suitable for skill level: Advanced must be able to ride upwind, perform body-dragging and self-rescue techniques.
Suitable wind directions: S, SE, SW.
On site riding condition: Flatter to light chop water .on high winds waves can get up to 1.5m. Shallow water entry approximately 30m and then gets deep.
Setup area: public beach 200m long. Can be used to practice kite flying on land. During summer, time watch out for other beach goers and swimmers.
